Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use RemoteControl for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes up to 3 devices with 500 messages per device per day and 30-day data retention. No credit card required.
What counts as a message?
Each telemetry data point or network test result sent from a device to the platform counts as one message. Commands sent to devices do not count against your quota.
What happens if I exceed my daily message limit?
Messages beyond your daily quota are dropped for that device until the counter resets at midnight UTC. Your existing data and device connections are not affected.
How does data retention work?
Your telemetry data, network test results, and command history are stored for the retention period of your plan. Older data is automatically cleaned up. Upgrading your plan immediately extends the retention window.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with higher limits. Contact us at hello@qlines.net to manage your subscription.
